Carol,

I can't tell you how great Romey is doing here!  We love her (and even Luna loves her, but won't admit it yet except through a wildly-wagging tail!)  We're training her real well, and it's working great.  She's sleeping through the night most nights or just gives little cry and is taken outside to go, and gets right back in her crate and goes to sleep.  She's very playful and suggestable and so much fun.  She's growing and seems to be so happy.  We're really happy with her, and keep wondering if a dog can have a "genius IQ", since she seems so smart for a baby.  (She goes to the slider when she wants to poop.)

The yard has been icy pretty much since we got her, so I think she's going to be surprised one of these days to discover that she doesn't live on an "ice planet" and won't always have to go to the bathroom in a freezer!

Dear Carol,

I wanted to let you know how much we are enjoying having Chester in our family.  He is so friendly, happy and FULL of energy that he even wears the children out!  He loves to run with the kids and chase the squirrels (the kids have a ball, but the squirrels are not so happy!)  When I take him out for walks, people always stop and ask about him and want to know where I got such a beautiful puppy!!  He is truly exquisite, a perfect-looking Cocker Spaniel.  When I took him to the pet store for a new collar, at least two people asked who his groomer was (you!), and another sweet lady bought him a new chew toy because "he was so charming"!

Housebreaking has been going well, although the recent snowfall has him a bit "confused"... he'd rather play than do his business!  We're working on that though, and (hopefully) soon he'll "get it".

We are looking forward to bringing him to you for a haircut in the Spring.  You will be so proud of him, just as we are!!

Warm regards,
Quinn T.

Hi Carol!  How've you been?  I wanted to write and let you know how our wonderful puppy is doing...

My mother was ecstatic when we gave her to her on Christmas.  She decided to name her "Morgan", which was her mother's maiden name.  She weighs about 6½ pounds as of yesterday, and has had all of her shots.  The vet we've been taking her to says she's in perfect health! (of course, we knew this already!)

She's such a beautiful dog.  The lighter spots around her eyes have grown longer, and hang down slightly, giving her this adorable, "sad" look.  Everyone who sees her is just crazy about her!

I'll send a picture of her once I get the ones I took last week developed.

Hope everything is well in your neck of the woods,
-Chris K.

Subject:  Tuffy

To:  angelwynd7@aol.com

Dear Carol,

We want to let you know that Tuffy is in great shape and is turning out to be a wonderful dog.  We particularly enjoy the fact that he is much calmer than our former miniature schnauzer, and stays with us when we take him for a walk even though he is off the leash.  That's what we were hoping for.  He's a sweet dog and a joy.  We are of course taking him to obedience classes and training him every day.  He's getting there.  We had him neutered two weeks ago and he went through that procedure with ease.

We also want you to know that a family in the neighborhood will take care of him while we are in Puerto Vallarta.  They have three sons and three cats and are very anxious to have him.  The mother and 16-year old son even went to obedience class with us to get an idea of what he's learning at the moment.  They will keep that up and take good care of him.  We are very relieved.  And hopefully if they still enjoy him after six weeks of care, we will have "built-in neighborhood dog sitters" for a number of years since the youngest boy is about eleven and is wild about Tuffy.  We greatly appreciate your willingness to take him if the neighbors had not worked out.

Hope things are going well with you.  All the best.
Fondly,

Don and Robert

Dear Carol:

Just a quick note to tell you we absolutely adore Bella!  She is just a bundle of love.  She is so sweet.  There isn't an aggressive or mean bone in her body!  She is still not quite there with being housebroken, but she is getting better all the time.

We are crazy about her.  Thank you!

Hi Carol...

I just wanted to thank you for the great Cockapoo puppy i got from you back in November.  If you remember I was naming him Jake.  He was black with some tan.  He is such a wonderful puppy.  We are doing okay with house training, but during the day he stays in his crate without any problems.  He loves to play and just keeps me smiling.  Everyone that sees him cannot believe how cute he is.  Again, I want to say Thanks!!!

Dear Carole:

I am sure that you remember the distraught twin sisters who showed up on your doorstep on November 16, 1998.  We had just lost our beloved mini-schnauzer to lung cancer two days before and were beside ourselves with grief.

Needless-to-say, I cannot thank you enough for our pride and joy, "Susie".  I never imagined loving a little "baby" so much.  She is by far the most precious Miniature Schnauser I have ever seen.  She is black and silver and weighs 8 pounds "soaking wet".  She is the smartest, most affectionate, loving little thing.

Thank you again!

Dear Carol,

I always meant to write to you to let you know how things were going with the Miniature Schnauzer you sold us last summer, but the time has just slipped by.

I know you'll be happy to know that "Merlin" is the light of our lives.  He is absolutely delightful.  He sleeps in my bed at night, has his own toy box & the only time we crate him is when we are out.  We have even started leaving him gated in the living room for short periods while we go out.  He's very intelligent and easy to train.  Housebreaking was not a problem and "chewing" has pretty much disappeared!!!

He is everything I wanted in a dog - Good company, entertaining, and very, very affectionate.  Thanks for bringing Merlin into our lives!!
Sincerely,

Beth Sokol

Hi Carol and Jim, It is approaching the one year anniversary of the day we drove to the Mulberry Farm to pick out our Cockapoo puppy.  We arrived on Dec.19th with our 4 year old son Jack.  He had the pick of four little girl pups, and after some playtime we picked the apricot pup with the "spunky" attitude.  (one of her sisters went home with the family that lives next to the famous Puffin!)  We can't tell you what a pleasure she has been!  We named her "Tipperary Rose"....but just call her Tipper... and she is the light of our home.  Very well-behaved and such a wonderful disposition.  We just celebrated her birthday on Nov. 6th, and she is now a "big girl"... all 12 pounds of her.  She has people on the street stop and ask all about her.  We even sent an older couple to you... they have been looking all over for a replacement to a dear, loved Cockapoo.  I forget their name, but hope you had clients from Northampton, MA call you.
All in all, just a note to say Thank You for our wonderful, sweet dog.  We couldn't love her any more than we do!  The year has flown by.
All the Best,
Mark, Lizzie, Jack and Tipper D.

Hi Carol!

I just wanted to tell you how much we love our Cherub!  She is an absolute angel!  Her coloring is gorgeous and her temperament is wonderful!  She has the cutest face, with these adorable eye lashes.  We can't thank you enough for breeding such an exceptional pup!!!  We have two other dogs, a Siberian Husky and a Miniature Collie Mix, and they get along wonderful.  I also as you know have four boys who love her to pieces!!  Please feel free to give my e-mail to people, I want to tell them of how great your pups are!!
Gratefully,

Robin G.
