Dear Jim:

Thank you so much for the photos.

Don't we all say our cockapoos are the best?  Well, Boomer just may well be the best ever.  Such a tender soul and he has truly been more than we ever hoped for.

We are so smitten we hired a professional photographer to take pictures of him a couple months ago.  If I can figure out how to send you a couple shots I'll do so; I'm sure you don't want all 114 shots!!!

Again, thank you and we hope all is well.  The new puppies I just saw on your web site melted my heart!

Best,
Ruth & Doug Van der Heide (and Boomer)

Hi Carol,

I was so glad to see your e-mail Carol.  Secret and I are definitely attached at the hip, I just love her to pieces.  After she had a little chance to settle in at her new home, her incredable personality blossomed, and she is so loving and adorable, I love her big, beautiful brown eyes.  People stop me all the time when we are walking around the complex, and they fall in love with her!  Secret loves all other dogs, all people, including the many kids here.  If she hears the kids playing the tail starts and she becomes very animated.  She loves our porch and keeps watch for squirrels, other dogs and people that go by.  She might bark at the squirrels, but only cries when she sees anything else, which is really great.

I took her to Dr. Ross at Banfield, part of Petsmart.  Everything went so smoothly for her and the second day home she jumped on the bed and begged to go out to walk.  No more puppies!!!  I never had to use the plastic halo so she wouldn't tear the stitches, the Vet did a special fold over so the stitches would stay put.  Everybody loves her at Banfield and everywhere else!

Carol, I almost forgot to say that I groomed her, and does she look beautiful, if I do say so myself....I kid you not, she sat thru the whole thing and when I needed her to stand I just stood her up and she stayed that way, I am so happy about her size.  I have a lot of bones for her and her teeth look nice and white now, I was amazed and glad about that.

Callie sounds adorable, you have the sweetest Cocker Spaniels of anyone.  If I hear of anyone I'll mention her.  Seek and I both send our love.  If it weren't for my fixed income well I would not hesitate to get another Cocker (a sister for Seek).  However, reality always settles in.

I hope you are doing alright with the Lyme Disease or as best you can Carol.  My heart goes out to you.  At least you have those adorable puppy faces to keep you going........

I'll keep you posted about Seek, she is always doing something adorable.
Love from both of us,
Bonnie and Secret

I know you have probably heard this a million times before, but I couldn't help myself, I had to post this e-mail.  Our family went to a party in western MA this weekend, and everyone was raving about Tucker.  He got along famously with all of the dogs, and in fact one person said "I have never seen my dog take to another dog so quickly."  Her dog was totally smitten with Tucker and followed him everywhere and wanted to play with him all the time.  He is such a wonderful-tempered dog, and at only 8 months he is trained to "play dead", "roll over", "stay" and just be cute and lovable to our kids and us.  He greets us every morning with the most energetic tail wag!  Thank you, Carol, for breeding and giving us such a special dog.  You should be very proud of your breeding ability and your expertise as an advice giver, too.  :-)  You're the best!

Hi Carol,

I haven't been in touch for a long time and I know that I've said this but I will say it again.. Thank you so much for Rosie!  She has brought so much love to so many people and has helped us get through some difficult times.  We have had lots of dogs but I would say that she is the most unconditionally loving dog we've ever had... and the most spoiled, but in a very good way.  Everyone who meets her falls in love with her.  She is the reason that some people we know who were not dog lovers per se have decided to get dogs and become converts.  I even have a couple of friends who are afraid of dogs but not Rosie... they actually love her!  We have given some thought into training her to be a therapy dog... especially with kids because we'd like to share... but we shall see.  If I could, I'd fill the house with Rosies... in fact, I wish I had bought 2 puppies at the time.

So I just thought I'd thank you again.

All the best,
Shelli Sandrew

Dear Carol-

I'm not sure if you remember me, but I am the landscape architect that helped you with the design for your front yard a few years back.  I bought a male chocolate cockapoo from you a little over 4 years ago (his name is Oscar).  He has given me SO MUCH pleasure and is THE BEST DOG I have ever had.  Everyone that meets him agrees  - one of a kind.  I can't even tell you how many complements I have gotten about him.  I feel so fortunate to have him by my side all day!!

I been thinking for a while that I'd like to get a second cockapoo as a playmate for Oscar (and for me as well, since I work from home!).  I really want a female apricot cockapoo... I know they aren't as easy to come by since they aren't as common as other colors... but I am willing to wait.  Do you have any idea when you may have one available?  I don't mind waiting since it's no rush.  I thought I'd ask you just in case.

Here's a picture of Oscar in my backyard from this past summer.  He has changed from dark chocolate to "silver beige"... I guess because of his white dad (Kandi Man).

"Occasional Gardener"
Anyway, I hope you are doing well, and I hope to hear back from you.  Have a great Thanksgiving!

Sincerely,

Nick Cavaliere

Dear Carol,

Hi, I don't know if you remember me, I had gotten a black cocker from you in 1996.  She is the love of our lives, a wonderful dog.  Her name is Ameila.  Sorry, my name is Susan.  Amy is now 11 years old.  I thought I had your phone no., but couldn't find it anywhere.  My brother is interested in buying a dog and loves Amy.  So, I was wondering if in fact you are still in the breeding business.  If so, could you forward your number so that I could give it to my brother?

Thanks again,

Susan Crispell (Tong)

Hi Carol and Jim,

Hope all is well.

Gracie is such a wonderful dog.  She is perfect for our family – we sometimes call her "Gracie Love" because she gives (and receives) so much love.

Dearest Carol,
What a wonderful day we had in Holmes visiting with our dear poo-owning friends.  The day was perfect, and it was so nice to see so many new faces.  Thank you Carol for arranging this special party.  It's a credit to you... so many people come and enjoy themselves.  On behalf of Ron and Muffin we say MERCI!  Love, Lydia
