Sent:  Fri, Mar 26, 2010 12:20 pm Subject:  My Harley Girl

Hi Carol,

This update is so over due.  I keep trying to find the time to write this and I have so much to say that the time keeps escaping me.  I don't know if you remember my reluctance to getting a girl puppy this go around.  I haven't had a little girls cockapoo since I was a little girl.  I have only gotten boys from you so I was hesitant.  Also every time I get another puppy I can't help but wonder if I could possibly love it as much as I love my previous ones.  I have been so fortunate and have gotten two amazing cockapoo's from you previously (Lambchop who is now 9, and Joffee who is now 6) that when I wen't to get another part of me thought I was tempting fate.  Not only did I already have two incredible dogs but the best boys ever.  Well, I left your place on Thursday, September 17, 2009 with my little girl (Harley) and my life and heart has been so deeply touched.  With changing of planes and a three hour delay this poor little puppy not only didn't potty in her crate, but when I finally got to the parking site, I put her on a leash and she walked on a leash.  (This is a 2 1/2 lb puppy never on a leash in her life) over to the grass with me squatted and pottied in the grass.)  From that day she always walked on a leash.  She was the fastest puppy I have ever potty trained to go outside every.  We keep a bird bell on our door and have taught her from the time we brought her home to ring the bell with her paw before she goes outside to the potty.  (Of course she rings the bell all the time to go out now whether she really wants to go potty or just wants to go out back and play.)  By four months of age she was completely house broken to go outside to the potty.  We have not attended any classes together because my scheduled with building a new company is insane, but she sits, lays, and gives you her paw.  She is truly a Mommy's girl.  She is loyal and lovable to all of family members but when she hears my voice she comes running.  If I stop short she will run into the back of my ankles.  I think her coloring is gorgeous.  She is black, a touch of silver, a touch of white, and she has silver eyebrows.  We tease her and say she is wearing Uggs because her four paws are caramel up to the knee joint and then she is black.  It looks like she is wearing Ugg boots on.  She is very curly like a poodle coat.  Full of mischief.  She loves when the UPS man comes.  She unwraps all of my packages.  Leaves the contents, but loves to unwrap everything.  When I go to get dressed in the morning she associates that with me leaving to go out of the house so she steals my clothes and takes off with them so I can't get dressed.  She takes my bra which is around her neck and goes into the big crate with her tail wagging a mile a minute and goes to the tippy back where she thinks I can't get her and plays like she is hiding with my clothes.  I have to crawl in the crate to get my clothes back.  I promise to send pictures when my kids get home and hook up the adapter so I can transfer some pictures.  All I can say is she is the love of my life.  I hate to travel for business even for a day because I hate to be away from her.  She is going to be spay next week and I am going to be in New York, I picked to travel at the same time so I didn't have to have double time that we would be separated.  She is a true gift.  I have been blessed with three amazing dogs from your place, but Harley and I were just truly meant to be together.  She is funny, smart, adorable, mischievous and a whole lot of love.

Thank you for everything,

Jill

Re: [American_Cockapoo] Mia, Luke and Emmy

Mia and I thank everyone for their birthday wishes especially Carol who nine years ago put that precious little girl in my arms and started a whole knew life for me.  Mia has been the light of my life and I didn't think I could ever love another creature so much but then came Luke and Emmy and my heart just exploded with love for them too.  These poos opened up so many doors in my life and heart.  The friends I made will be my friends for life and I truly have to not only be thankful for my poos but it is because of Carol's vision of being not only a breeder but a matriarch to a family of not only poos but their owners.  We take for granted what we have.  How many people do you know purchase a dog and then get invited into a group that helps you raise your puppy and becomes loving friends as a bonus.  I will be forever grateful for the day I met Carol and walked into Mulberry Farm because for me it has been a life changing experience and a journey that continues to be peppered with more love then I ever imagined.  So Mia's birthday is a very special day for not only her but for all of my little family.

I gave my three baths yesterday so took a few pictures.  A group one and then one of each of them alone.  Again thanks for everyone's good wishes and love.

Subject:  Happy New Year from "Willow"

Hi Carol,
"Willow" wanted me to send you an update on her life in Connecticut and send you holiday greetings (and licks! )  As you may remember, we moved from Ridgefield to Weston, Connecticut a few years ago and I'm pleased to say that Willow has adapted very nicely to her new environment.  She has her own pond (with ducks to chase ) and chipmunks and all the things need to keep a Cockapoo entertained.  She continues, of course, to be the queen of the household and keep everyone within it in line.

She wanted me to attach a picture of herself (lying at her favorite post - atop the couch where she can keep an eye on me working at my desk ).  And she also wanted me to attach a picture of "Cousin Augie" Middeleer, who still lives with his family in Providence, RI.  This shot was taken on Block Island where both the "cousin" Cockapoos vacation in the summer. (It's a tough life! )
Finally, Bill and me wanted to know if you would keep us abreast of your litters this year.  We are thinking of getting another Cockapoo (we love them so much) and so we thought it might be fun to add another black or black and white one to the family.

Hope the new year finds you and yours well.
Cheerio,

Bill and Susan Schettini

Subject:  Our cockapoo--- Merry Muffin
Date:  3/23/2011 11:08:03 A.M. Eastern Daylight Time

Carol,

I just spoke with my sister (Wendy Regan) who told me that she is adopting a puppy from your new litter.

Wendy mentioned you were asking about our cockapoo who we adopted from you in December of 2000(Her dad was Kandy Man)

Merry Muffin is just shy of 10 ½ years old and still has the energy of a puppy!

She is lovable, kind, good natured and has NEVER growled or bit in her entire life!

Her health is excellent and her disposition is permanently sunny.

She has given us so much happiness and for that we will be forever grateful to you and MulberryFarm.

Subj:  Our Mulberry Farm Cockapoo!

Hi Carol

We met you in April 2006 and brought home our beautiful chocolate male cockapoo "Duncan".  He was born in one of your litters on Feb. 2, 2006.  He is now 5 1/2 yrs old and truly the most wonderfully sweet and fun pet!  He is really part of our family and I will have to send you a picture soon to see how he looks all grown up!  He loves to play ball, go on hikes, cuddle, and has other doggie friends in the neighborhood!  I can't even begin to tell you the love he brings to our family.

I am not sure if you remember us but of course when it's time to get cockapoo#2....we'll get back in touch with you!

Hope all is well!

Subject:  RE: Dante (adopted at 5 months of age)

Hi Carol,

I just wanted to drop you a quick note and give you an update on how  well Dante is doing in his new home.  He is the best puppy!  I can't tell you how wonderful he is.  He learned to go up and down the stairs the first two days he was here.  He is doing very well in potty training - and he is very very proud of himself when he succeeds.  He goes to the park every day and gets a good long walk in addition to the several times he spends in the yard.  He loves meeting other dogs at the park and he loves all the people who stop to admire him and pet him.  I can say that Dante is coming into his own.  He has a wonderfully loving personality and he is a kind and gentle soul.  My cat Sophia has touched noses a couple of times with him and I foresee they will be the best of friends.  Thanks again for everything.

Love,
Joyce

Subject:  Our Buddy
Hi Carol,

It's hard to believe that Buddy is now four years old.  He has been such a joy to us and is loved by all who meet him.  He even has his own "groupies" - young kids in the neighborhood who ask if he can come out to play!
This past March he came with us for his first month long trip to Florida in our camper van.  He was the center of attention everywhere we went, whether he was wearing his life jacket in the kayak or relaxing in his bicycle trailer - while I did all of the paddling and pedaling!
He is also the healthiest dog we've ever had.  In four years he has had one minor urinary tract infection and nothing else.  Our vet would be out of business if all of his patients were as healthy as Buddy!
I've attached a photo for you.  We think of you often and will be forever grateful that you chose Buddy for our family.  A perfect match!

Subj.:  Toby!

Hi Carol

Just sending a quick note to tell you that Toby is doing great!  He's almost 18 weeks old and we all adore him!!  Our trainer has called him a "winning puppy" from when she first met him.  He'll be graduating from Puppy Kindergarten in two weeks and is doing beautifully!  The Vet, like everyone, thinks he is just precious!!  Olivia and Ben are doing really well with him too, and he's truly a part of our family.  Thank you for breeding such a wonderful puppy!!

Happy summer (if it ever arrives!).

Pam
