Hi Carol,
How are you doing?  Myself and the girls are just fine.  Just felt the need to let you know that taking Precious to the city can be overwhelming at times.  (smile.. )  She is just a friendly and pretty dog until we are stopped constantly.  When we were in Central Park, so many people gave compliments.  She would never bark, all she would do is run around and play with Jade and her friend.  Jade was a little upset, because if anyone would whistle to get her attention, Precious would go.  Jade would then pick her up and bring her back to me.  Very over-protective, that Jade.  Precious is complete with all her shots of course.  She had her first grooming today.  When I took her in, she was looking like a Cocker Spaniel.  Once I picked her up, she looked like a Poodle (HA-HA).  It's amazing how people have their own dogs with them, and they are fascinated with *her*!!  It's funny how some people would look at her and say "I want a Cocker Spaniel", and then others would guess and say that she's part Poodle.  One lady complimented all 3 of us together... I always thought Jade and Precious made me look good.  She's not a "yappy" dog.  She barks only when she needs to go to the bathroom and to let us know she is finished.  She whines most of the time for Jade.  When Jade is stuck in front of the T.V. and Precious wants the attention, oh boy does the whining begin!  Those 2 act really like sisters.  They both love each other so much.  I would think that Jade would be a dog lover the way she is with Precious.  No way, she doesn't want another dog near her (or Precious, for that matter.)  I'm new at this, and I've learned alot with the help of you, books and people I meet in the pet store.  My friend bought a Shiht-zu male.  He used to brag about how he had his dog for only 2 weeks and the dog became paper trained early (as compared to Precious).  I did Crate Training and he used his own method.  His dog now gives him a problem with going on the paper.  I say to him "You should have gotten a Cockapoo."  Until next time.  Thank you once again for the opportunity.

Please send pic's of new "look-a-likes" when you can.  Why is there no answer to My requests for contact information about possible Firbabies adoptions [purchases]?  Everyone... E-V-E-R-Y! L-A-S-T! O-N-E!... falls immediately in love with Buffy Samantha.  She is fine, absolutely beautiful, extremely bright, and wonderfully mannered.  In a word "PERFECT".  A true gift of joy and abounding love.  Thank you and Thank you again so very, very much.  She fills My world with wonder and brings a light to My life.  Buffy has made a home in My heart and a brought unconditional love to My home.  She was worth much more and I am grateful more than words can express for Her.  She has touched so many, and is sought by and asked after by so many more.  She is considered by many to be the unofficial neighborhood mascot.  Cries of "Buffy, Buffy.." can be heard clearly and often, on an almost daily basis, from neighborhood children.  Adults never stay strangers long to Buffy Samantha either, often coming by (and taking the scenic route, Out of Their way to pet Her belly) and inquire after Her.  Anyone who even considered return of, or refusal of, one of Your Firbabies is beyond understanding and begs the question "WHY?"
Plp, Buffy Samantha and Me.

PS.
Please continue to write when opportunity presents itself.  We do not follow the "Cock-a-poo" listing any longer.  Ginny T. and Puffin are all We look for now.  Thanxs again, Ric.

Hi Carol!

Charlie is 10 months old now, and I have no idea how we ever lived without him!!  Not only is he a total joy for us, but strangers who see him on the street break into huge smiles!  And these are New Yorkers!  People comment on him constantly, saying anything from "What a cute puppy" to "He's absolutely perfect" to "How cute is that dog?"  He has been completely housebroken for quite a while now, and we just started letting him sleep in bed with us  -  I know you're not supposed to, but my husband and I can't help it  -  he's just so adorable and cuddly.  When he gets worn out, he'll do something he's not supposed to, like grab one of my daughters' toys, and that's his "signal" that he needs his crate.  I get the "crate biscuit", and he dashes into the crate all by himself  -  what a "dream boy"!!  I take him to a dog run as often as I can for exercise and socializing, and he's so ecstatic to be with his [canine] friends  -  he runs to greet each arriving dog, and eventually finds the sweet ones to play with.  Since he doesn't bark at dogs, he always looks a little bit "startled" when he's barked at.  Actually, he only barks if he thinks there's an intruder he doesn't recognize.  And his coat!!  Carol, it's the softest, curliest, shiniest black.  He also has some brown around his mouth, white under his chin and on his tummy, and some silver on his thighs  -  completely gorgeous!!!  He is the absolute- best dog in the world  -  he loves babies, children, other dogs, everyone!!  Can't thank you enough for breeding the prettiest, healthiest, sweetest Cockapoos!!!

Carol  -  we have just returned once more from our cottage in Ontario, and wanted to let you know that our Little Bear continues to "win the hearts of one and all."  We have been asked by many people if all of your pups have the temperament as his.  Bear has been "allowed" into homes where most other dogs have "feared to tread" (i.e., Aunt Mary's and Grandma's).  He has "won their hearts over", as he has ours.  Continue the great work, and hope all is well with you.

Hi Carol.  Rylee and I were in our first (for the both of us) "Fun Match" today.  It was a "pre-novice" obedience class.  Everything was done on leash.  I was so proud of Rylee.  She did very well.  Even though we didn't finish in the "top three", I think we both did good for being our first time.  There were 25 entries in the class.  Rylee got 150½ points out of 160 points possible.  The dog taking third had 153 points, so I thought we did good.  Her 1-minute "sit-stay" and 3-minute "down-stay" were perfect.  No points taken off on either one.  It was on her "heeling" and "turns" where points were taken off.  She got the smell of something, and was sniffing alot, creating wide turns.  Her "recall" was great, but she didn't sit right in front of me.  She was off to the left a little bit.  Usually she is right in the middle.  For her first class... I thought she did great!  I'm including a picture of the both of us showing off her ribbon.

Dear Carol,

Hope all is well with you and you're keeping cool in this heat.

Molly (Snookie & Bada's pup) is doing great!  She gets bigger and more adoreable each day.  We just had her to the Vet for another shot, and he says she's in great shape.

Mark is absolutely in love with her, so when he gets home from work and says "How's my girl?" I know he doesn't mean me!!

She took to her crate really well and now she goes in there on her own to nap.  She whimpered and cried just the first night home, but then she slept through with no problems.  She's playful and loveable and is great with all our friends.  Everyone comments on how cute she is and how beautiful her color is.

I just took a roll of film in to be developed today, and I'll send you some pictures this week.

Thanks to you and Rob, we have a new family member that we love more than I can say!

Best,
Meryl

Carol  -

Hello !  How have you been???  Hope all is well with you and Jim.

Puddles is doing wonderful.  She has the sweetest personality.  She has brought a great deal of laughter and joy into our home.  Brian and I have spoiled her rotten!  When Brian is working, he calls several times a day to check on "his girl".  (And I'm not talking about me!!)  They have quite a bond.

I will have to get the dog up there so you can see her.  My how she has grown.

Carol, I am sorry I did not email earlier to tell you that little Wendell is doing fine.  We are so in love with this puppy!  He is so cuddly and playful.  Our Standard Poodle (who is about 70 pounds) was initially not too happy to see him, but Wendell has adopted this "habit" of just sitting down between Luke's front paws and gazing up at his chin.  Luke has melted, and now actually sleeps on the floor in front of Wendell's crate instead of on my bed.

Please tell Karen how he is doing for me, and tell her we are just amazed at how well he is trained.  As far as I know, he has not had a single "accident"... responds like a champ to his instructions to pee and poop.

Thank you for this dog!

Hi Carol,
I sat one night and read the web page you have for the crate training.  Not only did it help me with the crate training, but it helped me realize the behavior of a dog if you allow them to become the dominating factor in the family.  I kid you not... ever since I followed those instructions, as well as Jade, everything is 100% better.  She sits , lays and stays on command.  She was in the living room with my fiance and when I walked away she was about to follow.  I said "Lay down!", and she did just that.  He was shocked.  Even if she barks and I say "NO", she stops.  If she has something in her mouth and when i try to pull it out she'll tug away from me, I just say "no" and her mouth will open immediately.  She's not wetting the crate over night.  She's awake at 5:30a.m., ready to go to the bathroom.  She definitely is establishing better bladder control, except when she is excited, she's trickling urine.  I still sit amazed that I have a dog.  My fiance says she is perfect for this family.  She's so pretty.  Jade and I put a ribbon around her and it did nothing for her.  She doesn't need those "accessories", because she is naturally beautiful.  One of my co-workers went to the web and saw her.  She replied that she was prettier than all the others.  I said the breeder thought the same thing.  My fiance said I got my monies worth.  Thank you once again.  When I see other dogs, not one can match up to her.  She's a diamond.  Once I tell people who never heard of a Cockapoo what she is mixed with, the first thing they say is she must be pretty.  Right now she's napping.  I stay firm, but loving, and all is well.
