Eastern Daylight Time Subj:  A Mulberry Cockapoo owner Hi: I know you sold a Cockapoo (i.e., Lulu) to Rosanna Scotto, a news anchor on Channel Five in the NYC market.  She does a wonderful job standing up for LuLu in the face of sarcastic remarks from her co-host regarding little dogs. But she made me proud the other day. We've had a lot of coyotes "misbehaving" in the NYC- and Bergen County-areas.  In the city, there have been sightings in Riverside Park and other places: In Bergen County, they have attacked people. The co-host made a "comment" about coyotes, Rosanna and her dog.  Without a moment's hesitation, this woman  (Rosanna) warned that she hoped she and her dog did not encounter a coyote, because she wouldn't want to have to punch the coyote in the nose!  I was proud of her. If my "Buffer" has to go out at night, I take a soda can filled with pennies and a whistle out with us.  I am always on the other end of her leash!  But, I never thought of punching a coyote in the nose! Buffy continues to find ways to help me that never occurred  to me to train her for.  I feel like I am "restricting Albert Einstein to a sandbox!" When I'd had her home from Carol's for just a few weeks, and I took her for an "evaluation" at St. Hubert's to see if she was "smart enough" to be a service animal, they said she was smarter than me!  And, hey... I wanted to introduce myself after having met Laurie Mendik, and her dog Schlomo who originally came from Mulberry Farm.  What a sweet, well adapted animal.  I see a lot of dogs as a professional trainer that come to the city from breeders, and many animals just can't seem to get habituated to the busy city life.   Her dog is truly sweet and social on all fronts, not to mention adorable! Eastern Daylight Time Subj:  Re: Shobi Hi Carol, I've been meaning to send you a recent picture of our sweet little boy, Shobi.  This was taken about 3 weeks ago and as you can see he is looking pretty good for 16 years old.  Shobi was one of your beloved Heidi's [Schnauzer] pups, and what joy he continues to bring us every day.  Each day I count myself as so blessed to still have him.  He doesn't see or hear so well, and he has certainly slowed down some, but he is still happy and loving.  We are blessed to have him and I truly treasure each day with him.  I so clearly remember when I put my deposit on him thinking I could never have another dog as wonderful as our last schnauzer, and Shobi is very different, but every bit as wonderful. Eastern Daylight Time Subj:  Re: [American_Cockapoo] MACH 2 Allie So proud of my little Allie girl.  She earned her 2nd AKC agility championship today!  So she is now "MACH 2 Allie".  She may not be the fastest girl out there, but she is very consistent.  There were six other 8-inch dogs in our level, and in both runs, there were only 2 that qualified.  She was one of them!   I thought they were very nice courses, but they sure got a lot of the dogs. My very special girl got ice cream, and we shared a tenderloin steak!! The ribbon we got for her MACH was huge!! Please enter your comments: Hi there!  I feel so bad that it has taken me this long to post.  Things have been very busy, especially with a puppy in our family now.  We bought a toy cockapoo from Mulberry Farm at the end of February, and we named him Cooper.  He is the sweetest puppy in every way, and I am so happy we added him to our family.  I was very nervous being a first time puppy owner, but Carol's advice (and our having lots of love and patience) has made it easy.  We are all so happy to have Cooper in our lives, and had a wonderful experience with Mulberry Farm.  Our vet even commented on what a great personality Cooper has, and that he could tell that he had been well socialized because he loves everyone.  He also loves other animals, which is a blessing.  Thanks again!!   E-mail   Mulberry Farm's Guestbook   August 23, 2015 09:17:51 AM What is your name?
