Eastern Daylight Time Subj:  Catching Up… and Thanks from Rylee Hi Carol, just thought I would touch base with you and say "thanks" for all the birthday wishes for Rylee from you and the rest of the group at the American_Cockapoo [YahooGroups] OneList.  Rylee is how I first came to meet you (need I say more!!), and she will always hold a very special spot in my heart.  Rylee also introduced me to the world of agility, pet therapy, obedience and on and on.  It's hard to believe my girl is 12 years old… she's still going strong!  It seems like yesterday I flew out to meet you, Jim and Rylee for the first time.  The rest is history.   I'm attaching both a few pictures I had taken of Rylee while she was involved in agility competition this year in June, as well as a "group portrait" taken a few weeks ago of all three of "my girls" (even I'm in the picture!!!) I've been showing Rylee and Allie in AKC agility.  I started Mandy [my youngest] in AKC also.  She got her Novice Standard and JWW titles in August.  She is going to be very good.  She just needs to get over being so friendly, that she wants to visit with everyone in the ring!  I can get away with that in Novice-level competition, but not really in the other levels.  I will only show her on/off right now, as I can't afford to enter all 3 girls all the time.  Allie [my "middle-aged" Cockapoo!] steals the show when she runs because she is so darn cute.  No one can believe that she is 8 years old.  They all think she is a puppy! Did you ever buy the house you were looking at??  Even though I haven't talked to you in a long time, I do think about you all the time.  Anyway, now off to make some popcorn to share with my "birthday girl" and her sisters! Eastern Standard Time Subj:  'Ryleigh Belle' Speranza Our ever-changing sable female cockapoo, RYLEIGH.  After two weeks with us (at 10 weeks old), she has settled in with our family so nicely.  She responds to her name, sits and gives "paw" on command, and makes it to the wee wee pads 9 out of 10 times, with very few accidents.  She is brilliant and sweet, and we all love her!  We had taken her to our vet the day after we brought her home, and he said she looked perfect to him, but he took a stool sample anyway.  Today we went back for her second visit and next set of shots, and he said that her stool sample was "negative", something he very rarely sees in puppies, regardless of where they come from.  She had no signs of any [infectious] bacteria, worms, etc.  He looked at me, and said.. "You did your homework well, you got a winner here!"  Carol, you took good care of our girl for us!!  Thank you so much.  The Speranza family P.S. -  She has the prettiest face I ever saw on a dog!!  And, she loves kisses... You're my favorite breeder Please enter your comments: Dear Carol, I wanted to wish you and Jim a Happy Holiday.  It has been 4 years since I brought home my sweet little KeeKee.  I just love her so much.  She has brought so much laughter and love into my life.  If you remember me, I had lost my beloved husband and went back to work to help with my grief and loss.  KeeKee was my retirement present to myself, and we have a very special bond.  We moved to Pinehurst, N. Carolina after I retired in 2008.  We have met many nice people here, and KeeKee greets them all.  Everywhere we go, people stop to meet my little sweetheart. In 2010, I was blessed to have met a wonderful man from New York who was also widowed.  His wife was a well-known dog trainer, and they both trained Poodles in obedience and agility.  He owns a beau- tiful standard black agility champ.  I am pleased to tell you that we married in 2012 and live happily in Pinehurst.  I am sending you photos in the mail in a Christmas card.  The 2 are inseparable.  Just wan- ted to thank you so much for breeding such sweet, happy pups.  You have a true gift for bringing so much happiness to those of us who are lucky enough to have one of your dogs! Just a quick note to say hello and belated Happy New Year.  Carly is doing very well - 7 pounds and growing fast.  She is a wiz at obedience - sit, stay, down and "high five" are all well in hand.  Working on "roll over" now.  She even can play "guess which hand has the carrot slice" a real favorite of hers.  Our trainer thinks in a few months he'd like to see her get her Canine Good Citizen so we will be sure to let you know if she achieves same.  He said he can see how well she was handled at birth as she has been a real joy for us all to train.  You have to see her walk around town.  I think she may be Mayor of Floral Park when she grows up. All in all she is such fun and we think of you and thank you once more for giving us such a wonderful puppy you raised with love.
